Power Adventures offers adventure-based programs specifically for social service agencies and organizations. Our programs are designed to compliment and support therapeutic goals, while meeting the needs of your group with compassion and sensitivity. Whether you're a social worker, counselor, therapist, nurse, or doctor, you will see your patients/clients in a different setting, where non-traditional learning can lead to exciting new insights and individual growth.
We use teambuilding activities and adventure trips as tools to create healthy fun, build trust, encourage self-confidence, communicate effectively, examine support systems, and learn to ask for help.

Power Adventures can take care of all program logistics, meals (if desired), professional outdoor gear, transportation, and certified staff. We offer a teambuilding course in Highland Park at Heller Nature Center, or we can bring our program to your location (both outdoors and indoors). Our adventure trips are usually located within 1-3 hours of the Chicago-area.

The professional facilitators at Power Adventures focus on the process of discovery, providing opportunities for people to learn through direct experience. And all our programs include debriefing sessions to help draw out lessons or insight from the activities.
